ROad Trip!

Well, half road trip. T, M & I will be leaving Houston to VEGAS, on Christmas day. Early Christmas morning eh~ I am not sure why American always so excited about Vegas. Do they think Vegas is where the magic happens? My thought is most likely that's the place you normally lost your undies.

I am not super excited about this trip since I will be taking another trip right after this to Malaysia and then Hong Kong. That's like so many traveling! Too many traveling! But at least I get to meet my K. I am excited to meet him, but not excited about his decision of not coming here. Is like heaven is serving McDonalds and you can still get heart diseases. I know right!!!

Anyhoo, Cambrey broke down and I am looking to get a new car. I am not sure if my credit allows me to do so but I am sure hope good things will happens. FEH FIX YO SELF UP!

Talked to KC regarding the date invitation by John and KC said that J fits the criteria of a predator that hunts down women."

Comes to think of it, J fits the descriptions. Dressed nice (even thought he's only in his t-shirt, but he kept mentioning about dressing casual), well-spoken, and ready with pick-up line. Which is so true.

But anyhoo, I should know that I am not lucky enough to have a guy really would talk to me in a normal way. Or maybe I should take RW advice and be more out there and more out-spoken?

Overwhelm... Breath! Breath Feh

A regular lunch time Target shopping trip has got my heart pounding...

I roamed the Target store during my lunch hour as usual. Picked out a "pilot pass' gift card thinking of gifting it as my brother-in-law Christmas present until I remembered he got flying-sickness after the recent fly-ride.

As I place the gift card back to it's original place. A guy, good looking guy stands in front of me and stares at my direction. I turned around but didn't see anyone behind me. Still, I never thought a guy would ever stares at me, so I turned around and walk away to the cosmetics aisle to end my trip.

And BAM... he walked towards me, stopped in front of me and talked to me... I was astonished.

I'm not sure what should I do, I just stands there and stutters.

"This might be the only time I'll ever see you, so I know that I will not pass." J said.

Many times, guys came up to me, talked to me and then they stopped. But he is quite persistence. He demands immediate meetings... that's just odd. Ahhh, I am blushing and I feel blessed at the same time.

I've been listening to the same 1.5 minute "rocketeer" cover sang by Clara C for approximately 24 hours straight and I am sure it will kept going... Musicians always makes me so jealous of them! The way that they play all the musical instruments just takes my breath away, both male and female musicians, ahhh...

Hello Holidays

Did I really didn't blog for the entire month? I think I really need to set a goal to create one post per month? Yeah? Yeah? I think so too, second self.

Is the holiday season. Thanksgiving is gone and Christmas and New Year is coming... Ah... need to save some money for gift giving. I am not sure what should I get for my sister and brother in law, let alone my friends.

(Feh, you don't have friends...)

But yeh, I got my first Christmas present! :D Is ICE-BAT!!!! It (they) even glow in the dark! I can't wait to open it and watch it glow every single night. I never thought to look up prices of christmas present I got, but I kinda need to in this case cause I am not sure what should I gift the gift-giver (is that even a word) in return. So I looked it up and O.M.G, boy it is expensive...

So now I need to find a gift that is similar to that range... hmmm

Good thing I've already found a gift for M and T. Just need to look up gift for my sister and bro-in-law...

I GOT ROBBED

So many stories I've heard about people getting robbed at WalMart and too many times my sisters, families and friends told me not to visit WalMart late at night since it is dangerous.

I've never thought it would happen to me.

It all happen so fast. I think the robber is in a hurry as well. I've just finished picking up my L'oreal Millionist your lash mascara at Walmart in Stafford. Prior leaving, at the front door of my Walmart, I play my favorite TaeYang song on my iphone 4. Walked towards my car that parked about 3rd aisle from front door, got into my car, placed my bag on the passenger seat as usual and when I turned around to close my door, a guy stand in front of my car door and pointed a gun at me. First I didn't see the gun, I thought it might be a homeless guy asking for change due to the economy.

But a second later I realized there's a gun in my head. I wasn't as scared as I would imagined. Maybe because I have a feeling that the gun might be fake. For one second I thought of fighting back and dare him to make a shoot. Eventually, I didn't take the chance.

The robber, in dark navy blue hoody, has the hood over his head, he do not have mask on, but it is too dark and too fast for me to even recognize his nationality.
He said as he stands in front of my car:"Give me your bag."
(I look in his direction and saw a gun in my face, thought about fighting back but I didn't, I froze for a moment)
He said again:"Give me your bag or I will shoot you."
(So, after debating to myself that it's not worth it, I gave him my bag)
He said:"Get down or I will shoot you, give me your keys as well, and get down!"
(So I got down towards the passenger seat)
Robber:"Don't get up or I will shoot you, I will shoot you."

(about 3 seconds after he left, I got up, open my door)
WTF, he touches my car, when a police officer asked if he grabbed the door of my car I said I don't know and they didn't think he did since he came right to me when my car is still open and now that I think back, he actually did closed my car door and ran away.

(Back to the story, I opened my car door, turned back to check if he is still there. He was running towards the right direction from coming out of Walmart front door over the food center section. I can roughly recall that he is in shorts and sport shoes, and dark navy hoody, however I am not 100% sure)

(So, employee at Walmart named Angie called the police for me and the police came in less than 5 minutes, which is pretty impressive. The worker at Walmart gave me a form to fill in as what has happened; Police asked me a bunch of questions and took my contact number and I called my brother-in-law to pick me up, shamelessly)

(The Walmart worker, my brother-in-law and the police all told me the same thing that is not worth it to fight back when in a robbery, since the most valuable thing you have is your life, as I calmed down, I thought that is so true. But I feel so sorry that I've got my house and car keys stolen, I feel sorry that I have put my family's safety at risk, I will definitely learned in future.)

God, if you are real and if you heard this, please just make all the bad guy such as murderer, murderer-to-be, robber, robber-to-be disappear, got run over by MACK truck or something... Thanks)

As I got home and starting to one by one cancel my credit cards. I've already seen payment posted. The first thing that the robber do is to buy food from Whataburger... I'm like seriously? He must be super hungry or super frustrated since all the cash I have in my purse is less than $5... Bad target for the night for him... After the food purchases, he bought charged something from ExxonMobil Gas station, trying to get cash advance from capital one account an got denied, and I bet he is as pissed as me right now for picking the wrong target...

Stupid him for did not ask me for my pin number. Not that I would give him a real one, but is true that he has no choice but to rob people are simply stupid. I mean, for god sake if you are really hungry, try to maybe getting a job? Or go back to your home country if this country is not working out for you? Try to, I don't know, do a lap dance or sell your body for money? That might work better than robbing someone... Seriously.. Use what you have, as in your body to survive instead of hurting someone....

I truly wish... He/ them got run over by a MACK truck...

UPS Truck

I have a love hate relationship with UPS company. They bring me joy but at the same time their shipping cost an arm and leg. I remembered last time I tried to mail couple pieces of A4 size paper to Malaysia, man... the shipping cost is unbelievably HIGH, like a student on weed; like the air plane in the sky; like a junkie after shot... I'm not kidding...

It cost approximately $131.00 to mail couple pieces of A4 size papers.

Seriously UPS? Seriously you think you are going to get any business off me?

On the other hand, the UPS man that run the delivery route of my office is so cute :D I could stare at him day and night. He has the cutest smile and every time he comes in, he is always so polite. Cute guy!

Most importantly he compliments me. OKAY, I think he is cute only because he compliments me, NO! He is truly cute though *insert smiley face*

I stalk Sephora website

Addiction huh? Yeap, yeap... I spent too much money on makeup. I was talking to my friends earlier this week about makeup, and a guy friend asked a very interesting questions.

He asked:"So, why are you getting so many palettes when you have those colors already?"

(my initial reaction was like, no color are the same, yes you can get dupe and stuff but there're so many brands out there, different quality, different finishes and so many thing else, but he wouldn't understand since he is a guy. So I answered)

Me:"Well, I collect makeup, there're like collectible to me."

He:"Ohhh, that's understandable."

I think he really does understand since he is the type of person who would spend $300 on a pair of jean just because it is limited edition. Similarly, I would spend $54 on a palette since it is limited edition.

We're sick... and the major industries out there are using our illness as their money making opportunity!

My phone rang and it was a co-worker that called me.

XX:"Feh, do you have online access to magazine, Upstream magazine we have?

me:" I am not sure what that is."

XX:"Well, the Upstream magazine/newspaper."

me:" I don't, but I believe whoever initially setup that subscription will have the record of what you looking for. Do you remember who initially setup that subscription?"

XX:"Well, they called me to set it up and they sent the information to me."

me:" ...."

Sometimes, well all the time, I feel speechless talking to him.

My big sister said once, his emotions is worst that a women going through menopause.

Like seriously dude? I guarantee you will not damage your brain by using it once in a while...

New life!

EXTRA! EXTRA!

Second sister has gave birth to the cutest little niece of mine :D

My parents said that little niece look just like second sister! I can tell already she will be very pretty. New life, new start, I know she will put a smile on a lot of faces. Mom and Dad, big sister and myself. It's such exciting NEWS!

I love baby and I can't wait to see this little new family member of mine!!!! Tiny hands, tiny foot, tiny mouth and tiny gloves and shoes that covers them! Ahhhhh... I'm so excited!

I am truly an Aunt now! Like real aunt when I call my mom's sisters aunt, and now I'm one of them! Did I mention I am super excited? :D

Lancome vs. Shiseido

I'm testing out two eye cream samples I got from Sephora. Don't you just love how a store like Sephora allows you to just go in, grab some samples to try out and leave? I love store like this! But the last time I stopped by for these samples, I didn't leave wealthy... I got myself a Clarisonic facial cleanser device, which I am super happy about! I felt that investment is well worth it.

Back to the eye creams. These two eye cream samples I picked up are Lancome microlift R.A.R.E and Shiseido benefit. As advice, I apply one eye cream per eye and compare the result over-time. It's been a week after testing out these products, and let me tell you, I can already see a different. That truly surprises me!

Shiseido, I applied on my right eye, has made my eye so much more plumped and nourished looking. The dark circles on the right eye is noticeably less obvious. It made my right under-eye more puffy BUT compares to the left eye which I applied with Lancome eye cream is looking so much more dry and wrinkly.

I think what I will do from now on is to switch up the order of these eye cream samples for another week, so I will be able to compare them throughly before making the purchase!

Make up? Makeup!

I've only been in the game of makeup world for a little less than a year. I still remember Olay moisturizer is all I use through out my highschool and college year. At one point of my life, I've never known there're differences between foundations, tinted moisturizer, BB cream. Needless to say, differences between oily skins, dry skins or combination skins; the finishes of the foundations as well as staying power.

February 2010, is when I first starts watching a lot of Youtube videos. RayWilliamJohnson and CommunityChannel are my favorites when I first started. I love to think that I am a funny person, or at least I try my hardest to be. Slowly I starts watching "recommended videos" by Youtube and later to find out, youtube is like a deep deep well with countless information. The deeper you dig into it the more you can get from it. I've always compare youtube to google in videos forms. It is that deep!

Well, back to the story. You must ask, how do I starts watching beauty guru videos on youtube? It all started from a video Nat (CommunityChannel) made imitating Pursebuzz on "How to fake abs". I cried after watching that, it is too funny to begin with and I've never thought people would actually try to fake abs or neither it is possible. There's a link provided in the info. bar under Nat's video which brings viewers to the original video created by Pursebuzz, so I clicked and that's how it all started.

After watching that "fake abs" video of Pursebuzz, a lot of beauty guru recommendation videos pop ups on the front page so... there you go.

I figured it's been a while since I stopped updating my blog on friendster. Wait! what is friendster? I know right, it is amazing how technology evolve. ^_^ From ICQ to msn from friendster to facebook and the list goes on...

According to research, internet was invented in 1957 and wide spread in the year 1992. Seriously, I was in standard two back in 1992 (opps.. did I just expose my age?) Well my point is, it is astonish that how human brains work.
